And I, of course, pondered about it.
I get the premise ofcourse.
If your purpose, goal – if you feel the need to be universally liked, you are probably betraying yourself by doing things you don’t want to do, things you don’t like doing – in the quest to be liked. You are not being true to yourself.
The truth is, I think it is impossible to be universally liked. Seriously.
But the concept of doing what you like or what you want sounds easy, right? Far from it.
The amount of resistance you encounter is staggering. Whew.
People feel like you should want to be liked by them and to achieve that, you should do what they want you to do.
That shit is fucked up.
