I have been thinking what attracts me to the music I listen to. I listen to different genres of music but there are some I find myself drifting towards.
Why do I drift towards that kind of music?
I like emotional music. And by that I mean music that makes me feel a type of way – happy, sad – that thing where your heart constricts because of a song? LOVE IT.
I like music that resonates with me
Music that feels like the artist enjoyed making
I like music that makes me want to dance
I like music that holds special memories
To be honest, I love a good heart break song
Also, because some songs are iconic
And simply because it is SO GOOD
