Can someone please explain to me why people around us and especially the older generations expect all of us to make the same choices and basically be the same person.
Let me expound: For example some of our parent(s) have siblings and as part of that family they all made different choices. There are the ones who did “well” (by capitalist standards whether via enterprise or employment), those who are alcoholics, those who are single, those who are childfree, those who listen, religious, non religious, those who left marriages etc etc etc
So how do they think their own kids will all be the same? Make the same choices and all that.
