Things Kenyans Have Accepted As Normal That I Do Not Understand

Paying for parking everywhere

Not critiquing art (in any form) because it is seen as being anti Kenyan

Being enamoured by expatriates especially white expatriates

Not questioning people especially those in leadership

Accepting mediocrity

Croynism and cliques in various industries. Probably all sectors really

Thinking/Believing politicians care about them

Listening to what politicians say

Giving people who have been corrupt many chances

The existence of the position that Ezekiel Mutua holds

Being wowed by people who flaunt their wealth

Assigning virtue to these same people just because of their wealth

The culture of silence
